About Pumpkin Ninja
Pumpkin Ninja is a slice-and-combo game with a Halloween skin. Hold the mouse button and drag, or swipe on mobile, to carve flying pumpkins out of the air. Bats, ghost bombs, and cursed skulls must not be cut.
Rounds last about a minute, so scores come from chaining slices without a break. Combos multiply, and one bomb touch ends the run.
How to Play Pumpkin Ninja
Hold the left mouse button and drag through pumpkins, or swipe on touch.
Swing through the center of a pumpkin for a clean, counting cut.
Avoid ghost bombs and cursed skulls entirely — touching one ends the run.
Chain consecutive slices without a gap to build the combo multiplier.
Use the pause button between bursts to reset your rhythm.
Tips & Strategies
- Cut centers, not edges A slice through the middle counts. Clipping an edge often misses and breaks the chain.
- Let bats fly Chasing bats costs combos and pulls your swipe off the pumpkins. Ignore them.
- Multi-slice the clusters Save wide swipes for moments when three or more pumpkins bunch together.
- Learn the purple glow Ghost bombs read purple before they read as bombs. Swipe away the instant you see it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it suitable for kids?
Yes. It is cartoon pumpkin slicing with no gore, closer to fruit-ninja silliness than horror.
How long is a round?
About a minute, with instant restarts so a bad swipe costs almost nothing.
What ends a run?
Slicing a ghost bomb or a cursed skull. Missing a pumpkin only costs the combo.
