About Dog Runaway
Dog Runaway is a puppy chase through parks, streets, and backyards: dodge traffic, leap fences, and grab treats on the way home.
Rounds are short sprints with instant restarts, and every finish line ends in a happy reunion plus a new coat or collar to unlock.
How to Play Dog Runaway
Run with the Arrow keys or WASD; click to send the pup to a spot on screen.
Press Space for the action button — hold it to pee on a flower or drop a poop, which is a small joke, not a mechanic.
Time jumps at the last safe step rather than the first scary one.
Follow the treat trail: it arcs over the safe route better than any arrow.
Reach home to complete the run and unlock the next pup style.
Tips & Strategies
- Jump late. A late leap covers the same gap with less airtime, so you land closer to the next obstacle instead of overshooting into it.
- Follow the treats. The treat arc is placed by the level designer along the intended safe line — it is a route hint, not a bonus.
- Duck the stalls. When a crowded stall and an awning both appear, go under the awning: jumping into the stall ends the run.
