About Orbit Pals

Orbit Pals is a color sort puzzle in space: alien pals drift in mixed pods, and each one has to float home to the planet that matches its color.

Only the edge group of a pod can move, so the order you empty the pods decides whether the system clears or locks.

How to Play Orbit Pals

Tap a planet to lift its edge group, then tap another planet to send the pals there.

Pals can only land on a planet already holding their own color, or on an empty planet.

Unite every color on one planet to clear it and free that orbit ring.

Keep one ring empty at all times — it is the only working space you have.

Undo, restart, hint, and extra-planet buttons sit on the bottom bar when a sort goes wrong.

Tips & Strategies

  • Guard the buffer ring. Sorting without a spare ring locks the galaxy, so never fill the empty one just because a pal fits.
  • Finish one planet. A planet cleared in one uninterrupted sequence frees a whole ring, and that ring unlocks the rest of the system.
  • Park strays first. When colors swirl together, move the single odd pals into the buffer before you touch the matching pairs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it like ball sort games?

Yes — the same group-and-place logic, wrapped in a space theme with planets instead of tubes.

Is Orbit Pals good for kids?

Yes — cute aliens, soft pacing, no timers, and an undo button for every mistake.

Is it free and playable on mobile?

Yes — free in your browser on PlayFennec, and tapping planets is the intended control on phones.
